Position Shift Position Summary Minimum Qualifications
Server Part-Time Welcomes and establishes rapport with guests; presents menus, explains specials of the day, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and beverages. Take food and beverage orders. Prepares salads, soup, coffee. Delivers orders to guests. Provide guest service. Utilize POS System to collect payment. Clear and reset tables. Other general duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must qualify for PA State Horse Racing Commission license.

Position Shift Position Summary Minimum Qualifications
Food & Beverage Manager Must be available for all shifts (flexible schedule) Provides efficient operation of the F&B Dept., excellent guest service and 100% compliance with our standards, federal, state, and local laws and racing commission regulations, while adhering to budgets and achieving financial goals. Also acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD) and provides excellent internal and external guest service by ensuring that the environment, systems, products, and people are in keeping with the standards and expectations of Penn National Gaming. Oversees the operations of the Kitchen, Restaurant, Bar, and Concessions. Creates weekly work schedules to accommodate anticipated business volume. Purchases food, beverage, supplies, and smallwares to operate the F&B Dept. Maintains detailed working knowledge of all POS equipment. Performs all employee job functions when necessary.

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to be licensed by the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission.

Position Shift Position Summary Minimum Qualifications
Admissions Clerk Part-Time Monitors admission and entrance area for cleanliness and guest safety.Collects admission fees.Follows all company, facility and admissions policies, procedures and standards. Accurately identifies and assists guests – new guest, VIP, horseman, intoxicated, disabled, interviewee. Sells on-line lottery tickets. Cashes on-line and instant lottery tickets. Provides information regarding activities conducted and services provided in the facility. Directs guest inquiries to the appropriate person. Sells programs, racing forms, and pencils/pens, monitors inventory of these items and informs management in a timely manner when inventories are low. Balances cash, turnstile counts, and sales. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must qualify for PA State Horse Racing Commission license.
Assistant Manager Must be available for all shifts (flexible schedule) An Assistant Manager provides excellent internal and external guest service by ensuring thath the environment, systems, products, and people are in keeping with the standards and expectations on Penn National Gaming. The Assistant Manager also acts as the MOD in the absence of the Facility Manager of Department Heads. Maintains a working knowledge of all POS, tote, audio/video, and kitchen equipment. Performs employee job functions when necessary. Actively participates in weekly manager meetings. Recognizes, rewards, coaches, and disciplines employee performance in a fair, timely, and consistent manner. Trains employees on the skills necessary to do their job correctly. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed by the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission.
Bartender Part-Time Takes orders for and prepares beverage orders for guests. Collects payments from guests. Orders liquors and supplies. Slices fruit for garnishment. Replenishes bar snacks. Other duties as assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must qualify for PA State Horse Racing Commission license.
Mutuel Teller Part-Time Enters customers' transactions into computer and issues tickets. Cashes tickets, cancels tickets and pays out winnings. Orders daily supply of cash and controls amount of cash on hand to keep with-in acceptable levels. Counts all cash on hand at end of shift to balance to net cash responsibility. Provides friendly and efficient guest service. Sells vouchers and provides results and summaries as requested. Maintains a working knowledge of terminal procedures and troubleshooting. Handles guest deposits and withdrawals Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must qualify for PA State Horse Racing Commission license.
Security Guard Part-time evenings and weekends required Maintains continual presence to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Responsible for securing the building, preventing foreseeable incidents, responds appropriately to difficult/potentially unsafe situations and being friendly, approachable and helpful to our guests. Ensures guests are the legal age to enter the building and/or consume alcohol.

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must qualify for Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission license.
